The mountain lodge "Bad Siess" is a wonderful
place to appreciate the beautiful nature of the mountains of South
Tirol.
The hotel offers 12 comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a
spacious dining hall and a traditional Tyrolean dining room ("Stube"
furnished all in wood with stove). Outside there is the famous terrace
with a magnificent view on the Dolomites. The accommodation rates
per person: € 21 for bead and breakfast and € 58 for half
pension. Children up to three years are free and childen between
3 and 13 years get 50% discount.
The cuisine is also very much appreciated by the hikers seeking
a refreshing break on their way where they can enjoy the delicious
food.
There are many home-made dishes: Speck (air-seasoned bacon), Apricot
'Knödel', Tirolean roast, Tirolean ravioli, 'Kaiserschmarrn'
(special type of pancake with red current jam), apple or quark (dripped
joghurt) strudel are only some of the local culinary specalities
